The TOUGHBOOK 40 is also designed to use NATO-approved VIASAT self-encrypting secure drives, MIL connectors and docking stations. To instantly turn off lights and electronic transmissions during mission-critical moments, it has a one-touch concealed mode function.

Built for communication
The TOUGHBOOK 40 has the latest communications features – including options for LTE, 5G (starting this summer), and eSIM for switching mobile carriers without changing SIMs.
It can be used with all major GPS navigation systems and has WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1. Waves MaxxAudio® stereo speakers emphasize the user’s voice to ensure smooth communication even in noisy environments. The new quad-array microphone with AI noise reduction also removes ambient noise from the microphone input.
